This page explains what personal data is collected when you use the contact form on this site, why it is collected, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible for your data?

The data controller is:

Nikola Pashov
Sofia, Bulgaria
nikola.pashov.private@gmail.com

2. What data we collect

The only personal data collected on this site comes from the contact form. When you submit it, we receive:

  • Name — so I know who I'm talking to
  • Email address — to reply to your message
  • Message content — what you wrote in the form

No cookies are set by this site beyond what the hosting provider may set automatically. No tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or advertising networks are used.

3. Why we collect it

The sole purpose is to respond to your enquiry. Your data is used only to read and reply to your message. It is not shared with third parties, sold, or used for marketing.

The legal basis for processing is legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) — specifically, the mutual interest in being able to communicate about a potential working relationship.

4. How long we keep it

Messages and the personal data they contain are kept for up to 6 months after the last exchange. After that period, they are deleted. If we enter into a working agreement, relevant communications may be retained for the duration of the project plus any legally required retention period.

5. Your rights (GDPR Art. 15–17)

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access (Art. 15)

Request a copy of the personal data held about you.

  • Correction (Art. 16)

Ask that inaccurate or incomplete data be corrected.

  • Erasure (Art. 17)

Request that your data be deleted, where no legal obligation requires keeping it.

  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18)

Ask that processing be limited while a dispute is resolved.

  • Objection (Art. 21)

Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

To exercise any of these rights, send an email to nikola.pashov.private@gmail.com. Requests will be handled within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP).
